How to Style A Gown for your everyday: The Reverie Gown

The number 1 question we're asked about our gowns: where do I wear it? Outside of special events or formal settings wearing a gown everyday can feel a bit intimidating! But when you style it properly, every day can be the perfect day to wear a gown!
Nevermind the positive effects of dopamine dressing, but wearing a gown for your every day will make you feel like the icon you are! The trick to it is styling your gown with pieces that either modernize your outfit, or dressing the piece down.

In this styling inspo, we decided to modernize the Reverie Gown. This piece has an old-world feel to it, and with the print being a ceiling fresco from 1775, modernizing this dress was the best way to make this an outfit that works for your every day.
We paired this ball gown with trendy boots, a hobo bag, and a classic cropped leather jacket. All in shades of brown because that compliments the tones in the dress, but this color choice was strategically picked because it will also dress down the gown. Pairing the boots with a pair of scrunched socks will also lend the tiniest detail that dresses down the gown and makes it feel more cozy than formal.
These tricks can be used with any outfit you have. The trick to styling over the top pieces for daily use lies in what it's paired with. Deciding to dress down a piece can be achieved easily with picking trendy or comfy shoes and accessories. The silly thing about looking effortlessly chic is that it isn't effortless (not at first). The styling is carefully planned and executed to make the outfit appear like it was something you just threw on and that you are naturally glamourous. Funnily enough, the more you do this- the more effortless it will become and the more you build your wardrobe to have these types of pieces, the easier it gets to style a gown into an every day piece.

If this isn't the vibe, we don't know what is!
