Michael has always been a builder at heart. Whether it was coding, designing video games, or bringing ideas to life, he was drawn to the process of creation. From an early age, he knew he wanted a career that would allow him to combine his passions for technology and innovation. Entrepreneurship was always in the back of his mind, but he wasn’t quite sure what kind of business he wanted to pursue—until fate (and a little bit of fashion) stepped in.
Michael and Mackenzie started dating at 16, and through her deep love of fashion, he found himself paying more attention to the industry. While studying programming and video game development in college, he realized that the best path forward wasn’t just about choosing between technology and creativity—it was about merging them. Seeing Mackenzie's passion, he asked to join her in bringing Ivory Sheep to life, turning her vision into something they could build together.
In 2020, Michael and Mackenzie officially opened their boutique. While Mackenzie led the creative vision, Michael found his niche in the behind-the-scenes mechanics—building and maintaining the website, handling marketing, and making sure the business ran smoothly.
By 2023, the duo had evolved Ivory Sheep beyond a boutique, designing and producing their own collections. This shift gave Michael an entirely new way to express himself creatively—through illustrating designs and integrating his love of video games into the brand. Whether it’s in the subtle tech-inspired influences in their pieces or the hidden Easter eggs he codes into the website, Michael leaves his own unique imprint on Ivory Sheep.
For Michael, Ivory Sheep is more than a brand—it’s a place where fashion meets technology, where creativity has no limits, and where he gets to build something meaningful alongside the person who inspires him the most.
